189. It’s Okay to Be a Beginner
Powered by RedCircle
As we are approaching the end of the year and preparing to move into a new one, we thought that talking about beginnings today would be a great topic!
I recently began a new workout time because it felt like it was the right time for it with Micah being five months old. Jesse was very encouraging, reminding me that it’s okay to be a beginner.
That got me thinking about the many things in life that I am now good at but wasn’t always. I, for example, am now a very skilled blogger, but I refined my blogging skills by blogging nearly every single day since 2005 or so. I kept showing up.
Showing up as a beginner can be difficult at first. You just want to jump right to being an expert, but keep showing up as a beginner because there is only one way to go from there – forward, and it can be so worth it, especially since you might even end up becoming an expert!
